Happy Friday everyone!
This picture always makes me smile! I thought it was perfect for a Friday morning!
I have to say yesterday, I was completely drained (so drained, I went up to bed at 7:00). I don’t know if it was the change in weather, my lady friend, or still recovering from that workout, but I was tired. So tired that if my friend didn’t come run with me, I might have been tempted to switch my off day and make that yesterday. We did an easy 45 minutes down a bike bath with her son in the stroller.
Yesterday, before I went to bed, I was reading an article on tinybuddha.com, 10 Tips to Overcome Negative Thoughts: Positive Thinking Made Easy. I have to admit that when I wake up and look on instagram and see all the pictures people post, it makes happy. Why? Because 99% of the time, it is always positive and happy faces and I love that.
I wasn’t feeling down this morning, but a little off (Yesterday my dog went to his daddy for the week; yes, I share custody of my dog and it’s not easy. I can’t imagine how hard it is with real children.). First, I looked on my instagram and then I decided I would start with posting one of my favorite quotes on Facebook and I sent the guy I’m dating a Dunkin’ Donut’s gift card. Right away I felt better and reminded myself about the article I read last night and I will see my dog again next Thursday.
Once I got dressed, I remembered I have a pretty fun filled day ahead. I get to wear jeans to work (It’s the small things in life; we never ever get to do this. It’s to support breast cancer and I will without a doubt pay my money + to support this cause) and it’s pay day. Once I get home, I am going for my run then off to Happy Hour Yoga (love this class and this teacher). After that, the boy is cooking me dinner before he gets to go on vacation for almost two weeks (yes, totally jealous that he’ll be on a cruise then Florida and I’m here in Jersey, but happy for him at the same time .
Now that I’ve rambled, it let me realize me realize that once I looked at the day ahead it changed my entire mood. It is very true how positive thoughts can change your entire day. Take a look at this article and see how you make your day even better!
